Running Mantras

I first read about running mantras when I was combing through Pinterest and stumbled across a Runner’s World article on the subject. The article suggests you take 1 word from 4 categories to create your very own 4 word mantra. It’s a great post, you can go take a look at it here.

The point of a running mantra is to either get you out the door, or keep you going when it gets tough.

I originally came up with Run Fast, Be Brave. Since then, I’ve used a wide variety and find the lots of people in the running community use running mantras. I’ve already mentioned that “If You’re Tired of Starting Over, Stop Giving Up” really gets me out the door. Here are a few more. On days when we just need to be nice to ourselves, try this:
